Duikers are small antelopes found in the bushy areas of the Maasai Mara. They feed on leaves, flowers and seeds. From time to time they feed on insects, lizards, birds and small rodents. They have a slightly arched body with short front legs.
The females are slightly larger than the males but they do not have horns. Their gestation period is 5 to 7 months.
Their predators are carnivorous animals.
They have a life span of 12 years.
