Located in an extremely private area of the renowned Maasai Mara, Sala’s Camp rests on the banks of the Sand and Keekorok rivers looking into Tanzania’s Serengeti on the opposite side. Sala’s Camp is nestled amongst an indigenous forest with views into the Northern Corridor, which is the route taken by the million wildebeest whose famous migration takes place annually. This makes Sala’s Camp the perfect spot to watch the Great Migration unfold.
Safari from Sala’s offers the classic Kenyan experience. The Maasai Mara is an area of prolific wildlife and supreme sightings. Early morning game drives are highly recommended as the animals stretch and wake up to the dawn light, and take the opportunity to hunt out their morning meal. Later on in the day, elephants lumber across the hills, and in the soft evening light the drama unfolds once more to reveal Africa’s natural rhythm.
