Richard’s Private Camp is the ultimate retreat for families and friends looking for a private safari experience. The camp can only be taken on an exclusive basis and every group is guaranteed to have Richard Roberts as their host and guide. Tucked away in a beautiful valley in the Olare Orok area of the Maasai Mara, the camp overlooks a small river and waterhole, home to resident hippos. With a hyena den behind the camp, a resident pride of lion, and hippos grazing the lawn just after dark, the private camp is famous for its night noises!
Accommodation
5 luxurious tents raised up on wooden platforms to take advantage of the views. Each of the spacious tents has an ensuite bathroom with solar heated water, and large verandah on wihch to relax during the heat of the day.

All groups are hosted and guided by Richard Roberts, who grew up in the Mara.
