Rekero Camp is situated at what is recognised as the prime site within the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, close to the confluence of the Mara and Talek rivers. The Reserve and the adjacent Conservation area totals 750 square miles and forms the northern tip of the Serengeti – Maasai Mara eco-system.
Accommodation
Eigth spacious tents, all of which have the capacity of being a double, twin or triple – all with terraces overlooking the Talek river and en-suite bathrooms with flush loos and safari showers. Solar lanterns and kerosene lamps are provided in each tent. An inverter is available to charge video camera batteries, and there is a satellite telephone.

The temperature never exceeds 85F/30C during the day and rarely drops below 60F/15C at night. The warmest time of year is December, January and the coolest is June, July.
