Kicheche is located on the Aitong Plains in the northern Koiyaki Lemek region of the famous Maasai Mara Reserve. The camp is hidden in a grove of wild olive and croton trees in a prime wildlife area. Game viewing starts right from the camp itself.
The camp is closed from 01st April to 31st May.
Accommodation
11 double tents
The tents are spacious and fully insect-proof, equipped with cedar beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, shower and flushing toilet and running water. There are canvas directors and deck chairs on the veranda and hammocks slung between nearby trees.
Triple tents and family tents (1 double & 2 single beds) are available on request.
Food
The camps cooks produce delicious and healthy meals, and the menu features both African and international dishes. Fresh produce is flown in regularly and bread and pastries are baked daily.
