Bateleur Camp is situated on the western border of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in southwestern Kenya. Set of a private concession leased from the Maasai landlords, the camp lies at the base of the Oloololo escarpment just below the spot where Out of Africa,s most famous cene was shot. The camp overlooks the plains of the Maasai Mara and lies directly in the path of what is considered to be the greatest spectacle of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
Accommodation
2 intimate camps each with 9 spacious tents with shingle roof, wooded doors and a private deck.
Each tent is luxuriously furnished with gleaming wooden floors and wooden-framed beds, overhead fan, twin hand basins, shower, private w.c, cupboards, leather chairs and writing table.

Pan –African cuisine often served in the woods – dinner and breakfast.
